In their book, The Leadership Challenge (4th edition), James Kouzes and Barry Posner researched key attributes of successful leaders and discovered that successful leaders are active learners, and that the more leaders are engaged in learning, the more successful they are at leading.

Business and community leaders - don’t stop learning! Get involved with Leaders Serving Beaver County (LSBC), a learning community where business leaders can gain knowledge of solid business principles within a biblical framework. Learning occurs in various arenas:

• Monthly small-group meetings (7-10 people) held during the first week of the month at various locations throughout Beaver County where principles or lessons of success are taught from a business and biblical perspective.
• Occasional large-group meetings, typically quarterly, where a successful Christian business person provides insights into how to run a successful business from a Christian perspective.
