What is LSBC?
1. LSBC is a learning community (learning to
do well to do good). Those involved learn solid business principles
within a biblical framework.
2. Teaching/Learning occur in small groups
in local monthly meetings. (groups of 10 max. geographically
situated throughout the county; wonderful opportunity for prayer
and 'iron sharpening iron' and following the biblical advice
that 'with a multitude of counselors there is safety.')
3. Teaching/Learning occur in large group settings
quarterly or semi-annually (keynote speaker, great fellowship).
4. We use the knowledge gained to increase
the success of our business (financial success and success from
a biblical perspective) and in gratitude participate in meaningful,
practical projects that benefit Beaver County.
I CAN ONLY IMAGINE... What if...
... there was an organization where you as a Christian business
person could share your business triumphs and issues with people
of like mind? ... there was an organization that added eternal
value to the personal and corporate life of its members?
... there was an organization where you could fellowship with
Christian business persons who face similar business challenges
and desire to serve God faithfully through their business?
... there was an organization where younger Christian business
persons could be mentored by older, experienced Christian
business persons?
... there was an organization where deep relationships developed
among Christian business persons such that one would call
on another "in real time" during a crisis or just
for advice, where "iron sharpens iron" occurs.
